Dr. Cindy Zhang (she/her), DVM, USDA Accredited

Cindy grew up surrounded by animals. Her mother was a professor and researcher specializing in vaccine development for farm animals. Her experience volunteering at the Ohio Wildlife Center in high school and college led to an interest in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. Cindy graduated from The Ohio State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology, after which she took a gap year working as a vet assistant in NYC. She graduated from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 with special interests in small animals, exotics, dentistry, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. ⁠ ⁠ In her spare time, she is an avid K-Pop dancer who performs with a dance troupe. She also enjoys spending time with her Chiweenie mix, Jasper, and her dwarf bunny, Marble. She is fluent in both English and Mandarin; and also proficient in Korean, which she studied in college.
